Diablo 2:LOD Crack help v1.07

This is my dilemma:

I dont have the original Copy of Diablo 2:LOD anymore and it's the orignal un altered version which I believe is 1.07. So I got a crack for v1.07 and the instructions are as follows:

1.Copy all *.mpq files in Diablo 2:Lord of Destruction.(it doesnt say where to place them)
2. Overwrite the game.exe with the one given.

Well I know how to overwrite the file, but i don't know what the first step is trying to say. So this is where i need some help.

Unfortunately, because you don't have the original, it's illegal to use a no-cd fix. Sorry, but we cannot help you here ...
