Really? Thank you very much for your response! I was hoping that I'd be able to play Japanese games on the PS2 without having to go through the trouble of using a MOD, Thank you very much!

You will have to replace the top section of your ps2 with a lift lid cover, if you are going to go down that road, just be careful with the connections for the dvd drive when taking it apart.

Just read that it comes with a slide tool for the drive, i personally wouldnt go that way.. in the end it will just damage the drive.. pay a little bit more and get the flip lid mod case top.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the old PS2's have a pin-hole release for the DVD-Drive bay for emergencies. I can't check since I only have the slimline version. Can anyone confirm this?

Yeah but I wanna get something that'd be able to play but not slowly kill off the PS2 :( You understand right?
