Hi Guys,
Im completely new to this, so your patience is appreciated.
I've recently moved overseas and have taken some game along with me.
I had a copy of Commanc And Conquer Generals and Zero Hour.
I backed the 4 discs up onto a single DVD in od to save space and also in order to leave the originals with my bro.
I've tried to intall them from the DVD ( i didnt think it would work ) but it did for Disc one ... then when it got to the point where i needed to insert disc two, we had problems as it wouldt read.
Idealy the solution is to just burn them individually onto 4 cd's and do it the old fashioned way, but can you tell me .. if i was to copy them onto my hard drive, is there a way to edit the install process to search a given location for the files it needs rather than from the CD ??
I have no blank CD's at present, and will be early next week before i can get my hands on some.
