Steam is bein' mean to me.

Anybody know how to go around this program? I bought and installed "Sin Episodes: Emersions" and it installed fine. But whe ni went to play it it said somethig like "Erro:(Main Exception) Cannot find Steam Library steam.dll"

Why do I even need steam? I had to use it to play half-Life 2, and I couldnt play singleplayer without and internet connection! My dad found a way around, I forget what it is...

Any suggestions...

There's a thread on streamless half-life 2 ... take a look at that, I believe sin has been brought up there ;)

plainly i think Steam is the worst pile of crap that screws with your computer, slows startup times and makes ou download a damn update every five minutes even though you want to plain single player!!!!
