They've posted a new crack for godfather.Not tested by me, so any input about if it is working properly or not is welcomed.

I just downloaded this one. I have some business to deal with asap, but if I wind up back home tonight I will test it more thoroughly. All I can offer so far is that the nfo claims it fixes the car problem but my preliminary mucking about with it indicates that gamepad input is still disabled. I'll provide a more detailed report later. For now though, I do get the vibe this is a big step forward but still incomplete somehow.

P.S. Might as well not bump myself. I was just able to test completely. As far as I can tell, like the other no-cd fix, it does not support a USB Gamepad. However, it does live up to its promise of letting people get in and out of cars properly. The game is actually enjoyable with keyboard and mouse alone, though it is sort of a trade off (which is really better, playing with the disc in or the controls limited?) Still, I do offer my thanks for the effort. I'd played the game often on a friend's console but was saving it at home until there was a no-cd fix for the PC. It was fun just messing around again even without that Black Hand feel.
