ok sorry, I did find the update and patch. So no longer need that. I am now at 1.67. The only problem is now when I talk to henchmen the game crashes. Any suggestions.

Does it crash when you use your original game disc?

If the game works fine when you use your original disc, use the mini-image available on GCW or use your original game disc then

ok here is the deal. The play disc is scratched, I was trying to find a way to play the game without it because of that. Stupid me went and uninstall the game and tried to reinstall it. Now I can't even do a full install because of the scratched disc. Seems to hang up on Chapt3-4 movie. I didn't want to buy another one but it's looking more and more like that is my only option. The NWN crack on GCW worked, but.. I think the reason it is hanging up is that there is still data on the Play disc that the game needs to proceed. Any insight or a backup of disc 1 would be greatly appreciated, if not, I'll just go buy another game. Which I have already looked into. I saw the Diamond version but, I don't see a no-cd crack for it. I play my games at home and at work so a no-cd crack is very helpful. Already own two Gothic II, looking like two NWN also.

Any friends have the game? Borrow their disc and install from that using your original cd-key and you're set ;)

You shouldn't need a no cd patch Bioware removed the cd check of NWN in the patch 1.66

My brother has the Diamond edition not the same as I, do you think that would work?
And acal3000 the problem is that I originally had the 1.10 version

But if I remember correct since v1.66 you don't need a crack anymore, as they did removed the protection. Only NWN diamond edition needs the disc in the drive.
I'm not sure if diamond edition would work for you, Cajun. Diamond has some serious extra content(three form the five official modules form Bioware), so not too sure.
