is there a way to get playstation 1 codes on a ps2 AR max. If so can you point to where I can get cheats for Chrono Cross, FF7, and FF chronicles.

I'm assuming that's an emulator program ... most emulators that I've played have an option to enter codes. I'm not familiar with that one, so just play around with the menu options and you should find what you're looking for ;)

No a AR max is a cheating program like gameshark and I was looking for cheats for those games, although if you have a ps1 emulator I could use that

My m8 had an Action Replay cheat disc a while ago, that came free with a PS1 cheat disc (it only worked on the PS2 though).

As far as I know PS1 cheat codes won't work with an AR cheat disc for PS2 games, you'll need a PS1 cheat disc.
