The no cd patch for nba2003 does not work.or am i doing something wrong have used alcohol120,nero,clone cd,blindwrite nothing works help please.

Are you trying to copy from an ORIGINAL CD?

Hrmmmmmmm... Then it could be a few things. What setup are your trying to copy it with? (What CD reader & writer, @ what speeds, etc.)

I am able to copy this game with no problem, using the latest version of CloneCD & the setup in my signature.

if you are using a nocd crack then it got nothing to do how you burned the game.

try and other crack and make sure it is the same version as the offical version.

Yes, but if he can copy it correctly, the crack isn't needed. ;)

But we need to teach the folks how to make REAL copies that don't require a crack. ;)

I have the same problem as wstall2. I used the patch from here and gamecopyworld.com but both have the same end result. . .non-functional. I also tried to copy with cloneCD 4.101 using default settings and a Liteon LTR - 48246S, which can supposedly read and write in RAW mode. Still nothing. I'm also running WinXP.

burned the game again using the same CloneCD image as before but this time I changed the burn speed to 2x instead of 48x. After uninstalling the game and reinstalling from the new copied CD, the game loads and works fine now, WITHOUT using the patch/crack or registry fix. Give that a shot. I hope it solves your problem. Strangely, my other computer won't play the game with this very same CD unless I replace the original nba2003.exe with the one from the patch (but also didn't need the registry fix). After replacing the exe, the copied CD works fine. At any rate, there are appears to be multiple options listed on this page. good luck.
