I backed up BF 1942 and applied the patch and the 1.1 nocd crack from Mega Games. Now single player works fine, but when I try to connect to a server I get this error msg.
"Cannot find the file 'BF1942Demo.exe' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available."
Now I'm trying to connect to a ver 1.1 server so I can't figure out why its looking for the demo. Can anyone help??

Did you install the demo before? If so, make sure you COMPLETELY unistall it.
Also, is there a cd-key for that game?
yes cd key... but yes uninstall the demo AND THEN reinstall the game... and it is also posible you "backed up" the demo version of the game?

I never played the demo of the game. I'm sure what the problem is. I searched the forums for anything similar to this problem but couldn't find one.

I've heard that Battlefield can no longer be played online because EA deleted all cracked servers. Cracked Versions of the game cannot connect to normal servers. Irregularly you can connect via The All-Seeing Eye.
Like i said don't know this is true!!!!!!
