Hi @all!

Since my original of the mentioned game is pretty old and getting more and more scratches i wanted to backup it before it's too late! I also want to play it on my PS2 with a Matrix MXL2 Modchip because my PSX is also gettin older and older! I downloaded the game via Bittorrent yesterday and now have a 555mb .cue-file, a 555mb .bin-file and a ca.400byte .sfv-file on my HD. I used the .cue file to create a CD with CDRWIN, but my PS2 then reads it as an audio CD (since the original can also be played as an audio CD on a normal CD-Player because it contents the games music).
Could someone please help me with my problem?!

Greetz,

Phil

Hmmm intresting, what software are you using to copy the image?

I use CDRWIN . I thought of extracting just the CDROM-XA data from the .cue-file and leave the audio-data, but until now this did not work either.

If you have the ' Original Game Disc ', why do you need to download the game to make a ' Backup ', why can't you use your original to create one ??

Well, sorry mate, but the downloading of Games is illegal, unless they are Freeware / Shareware, and as such MGF cannot help you with your problem, irrespective of the circumstances, with regard to your Downloaded Game.

For help / advice on backing up PS2 Games, from your Original Game Disc, have a look at this thread here .. especially the post made by FantasyGhost.
