OK I NEED HELP WOLFDUDE... It seems when i patch manually, They say that i have the updated version of froze but when i go to the main startup place of warcraft(the Single,Bnet,Lan etc etc) it still says 1.20c??? TF? help pls

hey guys i got the same problem? i put the clean 120c in there, then when i try use the 1.20D patch on it, says my version is more updated? so i try run it but its a nogo? im rof by the way aswell.

I think that's really nice that people like you guys are so fast to make us the new patch, but since I found how mini-images work, I don't think I'll ever have to use a no-cd crack !!!

Mini-images make it more difficult to play many different games (constantly unmounting and re-mounting images), but you don't have to search for a new fixed .exe every time the game updates. :nod:

okay, i put the crack in my warcraft directory (after first renaming the old .exes), and it lets me run TFT (it starts slowly), but it will not let me connect to battle.net, saying that it was unable to validate the version. Any suggestions?

EDIT: and yes, i patched before using the crack

Use a mini-image and keep the original .exe files ;)

I don't think that you are allowed to put a clean exe. They should have backed up their exe files and the files that they are replacing with the crack. If they can't reinstall, that means that they don't have the original.

I'm trieing to get the NO-CD thing to work lol. When I try to connect to B.net I can't so for some reason I think I did something wrong ;)

EDIT: The only thing I can think of I'm doing wrong is accdentally installing a 1.20c instead of a 1.20d but the file says 1.20d... w/e

1. download the clean .exe from masta_orc

2. put the new .exe file into your warcraft folder in programs
3. download the patch updater thingy

4. put the patch updater thingy into your warcraft folder in programs
5. double click it and it should update
6. download the no-cd crack

7. put all the files into your warcraft folder in programs
8. double click the .exe

I think i speak for some when i say the blizzard manual patch for 1.20d is giving us some problems.
The patch claims that the version of warcraft i'm currently having (1.20c) is more updated than the one which was newly released.
Furthermore, when i tried updating from BNet itself, it claim that my checksum was somehow invalid.
Even with a clean .exe file, the results remain the same.
I'm sorry if i did not catch the earlier solutions to such problems in this forum but could any of you help make it clearer for me?

Im having a problem... I'm installing the patch just fine, and i can open WC3, and it says patch 1.20d but.....when i try to connect to battle.net it gives me an error saying that its unable to connect to battle.net and to try manually connecting etc.

Are you using your original cd?

to everyone who experienced the same problem as me, the problem isnt the patch, its the updater, we downloaded the wrong manual one, we downloaded 1.20c not the 1.20c to 1.20d updater... if anyone reads this hopes it helps.

allough mine still says unable to find war3.mpq :S
