instead of buying ATI 8500... a PS2?

Why make an upgrade with 400$ or more, from PIII to PIV, from SDR to RDRAM, and from TNT2 to 8500 to play GTA3 at good fps rate?. I´m just about to walk into the console world!(PS2) only beacause this fuc.. GTA3!. Or i´m wrong?

And.. i´m a race fan, colin2 was the best rally game ever and i saw that cmr3 only willl be aviable for PS2 and Xbox!. I was about to buy the logitech MOMO wheel, the top race wheel! but it is for PC only...help me i´m in crisis. I always thought the PC is so much better than the consoles, but now..

Gta3 aint running becasue tnt2 is an old card it aint got the power 4 that sort of game
