Uk's Problem with Child abductions

Hard subject to discuss, No joking matter at all. been two recent cases that have hit the headlines hard first was the Milly dowler (who is still missing) And now the 2 Young girls from Norfolk. Makes me sick to think there are people out there capable of such sick n twisted actions.

Problem is how are these people making contact whats the likely hood of just getting snatched its obvious these people must plan this and id bet anything the internet was used to trap them. :(

So what do they do to stop such sick people there was a sex offenders list but maybe they need more drastic action for these sick people, I believe they should make this people public known see what punishment they receive (but the problem arises if someone is wrongly accused)

So please no stupid suggestions No jokes made on this , Serious comments on what you think the UK government to do. Also if you know any details on any cases like this Please go to the proper authorities.

The poor parents of these children the familys the friends the children themselves need your help

Also if you have children of your own make sure they surf safe

I guarentee you that once enough of them are left "tooless", it will serve as a STRONG warning to any other would be predaters. Both that and sending them to the slammer to the welcoming comitee of Foot Long, Big Boy, Pile Driver, The Imtimidator, and Bubba to give them a hearty welcome.

This needs to happen here in the States as well.

This happens far too often, even here in the US.
I'm sure the internet plays a HUGE role in this.
I'm not blaming them, BUT parents need to make sure they tell their young ones not to give out their personal information online. (name, address, age, etc)

I watched a few shows where the investigated this type of stuff, and these sick freaks would go into chat rooms, and look for young girls. They would pose as someone else, and get the young boys/girls to meet them somewhere, and would then abduct them. :(

All of these people who do this crap need to be punished.

I'm sure you saw recently the Bethlem Royal Hospital.. Uproar over plans to make more space for sex offenders etc... That place is 5 minutes from me...Also 5 minutes from kids schools...

I've been inside(cos I know someone who works there before any of you get any funny ideas) and you can just walk in and out....nobody questions you...

It's this attitude mixed with care in the community which lets freaks and weirdos wonder our streets with as many rights as a normal person.

Also the lack of morral standards passed in schools.... We've all seen the cctv of milly...Like many other young teens, she is in some silly ass skirt which must barely cover her crotch... Now I'm not a prude, but these are schoolgirls, that ++++ is just wrong, but the schools obviously tolerate it.

Dress like that can only encourage freaks to snatch little girls. But then you can't force them not to dress like that...Blair's wife will step in and say it's against their rights or some crap.

Britain must leave europe and these lefty mincers, and pretty bloody quick...We need to regain our identity and loose these insane euro values.

Either that or get a far right govt which gives out proper punishment for criminals.

I thought they already have a system to show all the sex offendors.. or at least already talked about such a system to be placed....

I'm stumped at what could be done for realistic solutions...

1. Since sex offendors know of the new tracking watch system (Child safety GPS) on children (Big TV exposay on it in the past) they'd probably take it off and get away with child. So instead you embed a small painless tracking system (A chip) on child while there sleeping and they can be traced safely.. The chance a low life sex offendor/child rapist could afford an anti tracking system/scrambler or even know how to use one in this time is... heh heh.. dont make me laugh (+ they wouldnt know where it is)

Problems
A. Price might be.. will be... high (Its probably only a gov't thing right now)
B. Possible exploitation of it from hackers finding the signal and knowing where the rich kids are going for rich parents. (Ransom)

2. Loyal Bodyguard/Distant Loyal Bodyguard.... someone comes near the child, bodyguards got it covered. Theres also the added security for bullyism. Nuff said

Problems
A. Definately being used by the rich people now... kidnap/ransom--ers would be on watch for these specific children and guard could be overpowered/distracted while child taken
B. Price for a bodyguard
C. Traumatization of child if he/she knew she was being followed + watched/guarded her entire child life... Course it could also be a plus seeing how the guard could be his/her friend.

Well... I coughed out my 2 cents on this.. *hurls up another quarter* ... gotta stop eating my lunch money to avoid it being taken by bullies :D :D

Although I doubt that Casteration would prevent a Child Molester from offending again upon release, I do wholeheartedly agree with the latter part .. i.e. .. once the offence has been proven and the guilty party having been aptly sentenced remove the privilages of isolation from the other inmates ... let them experience the fear that they inflicted upon their victims.

DNA sampling plays a major part of crime detection in this day and age ... OK it may not yet be flawless ... but it would be a major deterrent to commiting a crime if the potential perpetrator knew that their DNA was on a National / International / Global Database. But as previuosly mentioned the cry of " Human Rights " would be overpowering.

The Internet, as Vile mentioned, plays a HUGE role in this. But it is a necessary " evil " in the society of this day and age, TV / Video Games / Mobile Phones, have all had their share of the blame. The solution to this must lay with the creators of " Modern Technology " .

Police are searching for a 10-year-old schoolgirl who vanished during a family trip to a shopping centre.

Rosalyn Barrett was last seen at about 1.30pm yesterday by her mother and two sisters, aged 11 and 18 months, in the Chequers Shopping Centre in Maidstone, Kent.

She ran off and after her mother failed to find her, she called police who searched the shopping centre and town centre with no success.

Officers have also been carrying out extensive enquiries in the area around London Road in nearby Aylesford where she lives, as well as the route she would have to take to walk home.

They have also searched the area in which her father, who is divorced from her mother, now lives in the town centre.

Rosalyn is 4ft tall, with shoulder-length mousy brown hair, possibly tied in a ponytail, and has blue eyes.

She was wearing a red fleece jacket with a dark blue band around it, a white top with gold glitter on it, beige trousers and white and blue trainers.

Detective Chief Inspector Mick May, of Kent Police, said: "Rosalyn is only 10 years old. We are worried about her being missing for so long.

"She may have gone to find friends or family in the town centre area but no-one has heard from her. She has no money with her."

He appealed for anyone who has seen Rosalyn or knows where she is to contact Maidstone police on 01622 608075.

It's all wrong the way they protect the paedophile you can be living next door to one and not know. They don't deserve any protection, it's children that need protecting. To me it's black and white. If you sexually offend against a child, you deserve to have your name made public, and if as a result you get bricks through your windows and insults hurled at you well tough! Children should come first, they should be protected, men who prey on them are grotesque and deserve no consideration, and certainly no privacy.

Once they've been convicted of a perverted crime like this they should never be let back into society, there's no cure for them, they'll always have their obsession with children.

The internet makes it far too easy for them to get access and gain the trust of a child :(

On a protection note how about the goverment to issue all children from when they first attened school some kind of noise makers to alert people instantly to any kind of problem.

That would maybe help prevent some cases but a lot of the time paedophiles are known to the victim, trusted by them even. They are very patient in earning a childs trust, sometimes the whole family is taken in by them :(

About 40 officers were involved in the search which included extensive inquiries in the area around London Road in nearby Aylesford where she lives, as well as the route she would have to take to walk home.

Police also searched the area in which her father, who is divorced from her mother, now lives in the town centre.

A police spokesman said: "She has been found alive and well in Eccles, just outside Maidstone. We cannot confirm who found her."

Police are collecting her to take her to the police station, he said.

Anyway you make a good point GG. These sexual offenders would have no rights if I had it my way. People should be made aware of them.

Here in my town, there is a web page: http://www.azsexoffender.com/ and it will show you a list + info about someone convicted of a sexual crime. It will tell you their address, so you will know if you are living next to one.

Many people did not agree with this, but I think its a damn good idea. If I am a parent with kids, I want to know if I'm living next door to a sexual predator.

The freaky thing is, I did a search by my zip code, and I have seen some of those people around.
Go to the page, and do a search by a zip code, for example, zip code: 85714.
it gives you detailed information, like name, address, height, age, etc. And the crime they were convicted of.

I think more and more people should do this.

That site is a very good idea, every town should have one.
It's not looking good for the 2 ten year old girls, police have found 2 patches of freshly dug earth less than 10 miles from their homes, we'll know more in the morning :(
