Hey, I've been trying to play my Empire at War, and every time I try to start the game, the box for it comes up on the taskbar, but then when the screen goes black as if to start playing the game, my cmoputer restarts. It still does this in safemode as well. I have more than enough to play with the sys reqs they've posted for it, so I have no idea what can be going on, anyone else? I've patched it version 1.02 and tried that, too.

I had the same problem, but you have to update to 1.02. The crack is a 1.02 crack and will not work properly on the factory default version. I just tested it after updating, and it works fine.

Oh, wrong restart issue. In the factory version, if you use the 1.02 reloaded crack, the game will close after the opening Empire at War screen. I don't get the PC restart issue. Maybe it's from your OS? I have win2k.

I have WinXP, so I don't think that that should be an issue. Where would I get the drivers from, and yes, I do have the disc, but it still does the same thing, cracked or not...

also if you have a joystick/gamepad unplug it and try again without it sometimes this make restart problems

Find out what GPU you have, check your version of DirectX, etc etc ... then search for something like "nVidia driver" in google and you'll find stuff
