MOH Pacific/Junk?

I bought a new computer with the AMD Athlon 64 3500+ with 1.00 GB of ram and a NVIDIA 6800 GS. I got out my old MOH Pacific game, loaded it and the patches. The game can't find the cd when I go to play it after successfully installing the game. The only way I can get it to play is with a game fix. Then once I'm on the Higgins boat and start to shoot the machine gun poof! It crashes to desktop. I've uninstalled/installed several times:tredmil: , changes screen resolutions, you name it...nothing! Should I just count it a loss?:cries:

update your graphics card drivers
update any joypad drivers if u use one
