Anyone know where I can get a Diablo 2 no-cd crack or mini-image, preferably a mini-image (gamecopyworld does not have one)?
Thanx,

I find it quite amusing that someone will be at MGF and ask for a game fix that's on MG ...

I had trouble using a fixed .exe file playing online with battle.net with WC3:FT, but a mini-image worked fine.

Hey guys which of the patches here work with D2 & LoD 1.11b? I've tried the three here http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/c901470_1.htm, but none seem to work. The first two gave errors and the Deviance one doesn't seem to work, and that's simply copying over a cracked .exe file. (To it's merit, the standard CD request message didn't appear with the Deviance one, but a different one did.) Is there something I'm missing?

are you playing of the original or a back up?
and if those dont work try the ones from gameburnworld here (http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/diablo2.shtml) and here (http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/diablo2lordofdestruction.shtml)

Okay, neither of those worked. The Deviance one is doing something, though. Instead of the typical "Diablo II can not detect a Disc in your CD-ROM drive..." message with the choices "Retry" and "Cancel", I just get one that says "Insert Expansion Disc" and gives the choices "Okay" and "Cancel." I'm playing an original, and version is 1.11b. Amazing how this seemingly works for everyone else.

Nope, those ones didn't work either. Same problems as the others.

Do you have the frigging expansion installed? Because it is d2 and the addon. And my guess is that you don't apply the correct crack. I know it is d2, but usually most of the people forget to check if they own only d2 or d2 with expansion. Give me the data and i might find a working crack for you.
http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/diablo2.shtml, here is for the d2 cracks
http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/diablo2lordofdestruction.shtml, here for d2lod cracks.
Now i know that all the 1.11 cracks there are working. You are just doing something terribly wrong.
So again check what version of d2 do you own: the one without expansion or the one with expansion. And then choose your crack accordingly.

If it was me and none of the ones from megagames work i would just Google it
it's never failed me before

Let's put it otherwise: do you have the assassin and the druid characters in your d2?If you do you have the expanded edition, if not it's just the normal edition.

Wolf, I'd appreciate not being talked down to. I'm not some B.net idiot, and it looks pretty lousy when you make yourself seem like one. I do have the expansion installed, and all the cracks I've tried so far have been labeled as working for the expansion. I do get that this is something I'm doing wrong since from the looks of it all the cracks have been working for others, I'm trying to use the forums on finding out just what I am doing wrong.
As of now, the only remotely logical idea I can come up with is requiring a crack for normal D2 and another for LoD, but that still sounds absurd that a team wouldn't make a combined one.
P.S. To Goth, yeah I've tried, but they all lead to these cracks. :)
Watch it guys, if you start a flame war this thread will be closed. I'm sure wolfsrain wasn't talking down to you, remember that 50% of all written text is misinterpreted.

Yeah I know, the internet is a hard thing to read. Believe me it wasn't meant to start something. Flame wars aren't my idea of fun.
EDIT: On an interesting note, I was able to fix my problem. Turns out I had to copy the d2xvideo.mpq and d2xmusic.mpq over from the LoD CD. Go fig. At least it's all working now, and I don't have to bother with the discs. Thanks guys.
