Depending on the version of the game you have (which you can find out by right-clicking your shortcut, selecting "Find Target" and right-clicking that file and going to "version"), you can download a fixed .exe file here (http://www.gameburnworld.com/gp/gamefixes/battlefield2.shtml). When you've downloaded the file, you're going to want to make a backup of the original .exe file and store it someplace safe (in case the crack doesn't work, you can just copy it back), and then uncompress using your favorite software (winRAR is a popular choice) into the game directory. Then you're all set.
