The workaround for SC:CT has been exhausted in the previous thread, so there really isn't a purpose for this thread. Unless you need help that wasn't provided in the last thread, I don't think you needed to start a new one.

Hi guys,
I've been tired of reading and trying the ways to play SCCT without my DVD. I am a collector so i like to keep my games in mint condition.
I stumbled onto a very simple solution. Also this works for any game i would imagine with the same starforce protection such as POP: The Two Thrones.
1. Install the game, place a valid key.
2. Make a full image, not a mini-image. So the image will be the same size as the dvd/cd used to play the game.
(I was going to leave the image making to up you guys but, simply use DVD decrypter for DVDs and CloneCD for cds - none of that DPM jargon. So far these two programs can overcome the copy protection on current games but games like Brothers in Arms can't be overcome with these, just a friendly hint there.)
3. Turn off the computer. Turn off the power completely.
4. Open up the case and disconnect the molex connectors for your dvd/cd drives only (one for each drive).
5. Restart your computer.
(Offcourse in order to use your DVD/CD drives you must turn off your computer and reconnect the molex connectors, then restart. Kind of a hassle but its a small price of time for a worry free solution.)
6. Using Daemon tools or Alcohol software mount the relevant image.
7. The Game looks like it might not start the first time with a little hesitation but subsequent startups are instantaneous.
8. Enjoy gaming responsibly!
Usuage of programs to disable your hardware can be deterimental without proper understanding. I'm no pro but this what i use for gaming SCCT and POP-TTT.
Thanks.

Tom....it works...cos i'm a real game enthusiast who owns games....and like to keep them mint......i dont play that often ironically......but i follow technology very closely and hope to be a gamer who reviews games rather than have to buy them to play them.....and say how good they are!Try it tom....it is for real no software to download at all.
