I know its Illegal but I got broken into last year and all my PS2 games got stolen. So I am now decidint to backup all my games and put the real ones back in the cases but if I get broken into again I'll have those copies to use. I was wondering how to get my CloneCD to burn PS2 games and if I am actually using the right program. I have a reader drive and a Writer drive but my reader is slow as far as I can tell. Too slow for the Writer

Help weould be miuch appreciated:blaceyes

That's a great tutorial, there, FantasyGhost ... I don't know about anyone else, but I've found using Alcohol120% to backup PS/2 games to be pretty easy and would definately recommend using that approach.

On a side note, it is totally legal to backup any game that you have legally purchased. It would only be illegal for you to copy a game that you borrowed from a friend or rented or something of that sort.

Yeah, like IDipSkoalMint says, Alcohol is the easiest to use, it even has a setting to copy a PS2 game, meaning you really don't have to do very much. If you need help using/finding Alcohol, ask.

WOW golly gee wizz....Thanks you guys!

Oh...I was wondering if its possible to download the full version of a well known game ( ie;GTA: Vice City) off the internet of a file-sharing program such as Limewire.

That would be illegal, as you don't have the license to play the game ... we don't like that here haha

Emulation is legal only in the situation that you own the game and make it playable on another system (usually PC), but downloading of games is not legal (unless they're freeware).
