I just got Mario power tennis for GBA, and noticed in the multiplayer options , that you can connect via a wireless addon for the gameboy advance , I was wondering if I am able to play using 2 nintendo DS systems and the GBA cart?

I would assume that you need to have a copy of the game for each DS ... that just seems like the logical thing to me, but I could be wrong

The wireless options between the two aren't the same thing. DS uses full WiFi spec while the wireless add-on for the GBA is a very 'lightweight' version of that. More importantly, there isn't any way for a GBA game running on the DS to see the wireless hardware in it (GBA games don't recognize the WiFi on the DS, they won't know what to do with it).
The GBA add-on just replaces a cable in the connectivity port on the actual GBA, and needs that port to be supported.
But then again, I might be wrong. But as IDipSkoalMint says, if it does work, you'll probably need two carts to try it with.

I didn't read the original post close enough ... I didn't notice the "GBA" part. You may not be able to get it to work, but for your sake, I hope you can.
