What do you mean break? Like destroy the PS2? I have never heard of that.

Me neither, I have played the game to completion and not encountered any problems.

Yes i mean destroy!! but not in the literary meaning. There were some people who have had some problem with it. Since Gta san andreas is a very huge game it needs to load continuously from the PS2 lens and if the lens is under pressure i t can eventually be damaged. I don't know if it's true but that's what i know about it:grayuhoh:

Mine worked fine all the way. I've even played it on my HDD a second time.

I've completed GTA:SA on my PS2 without any problems, you are correct though, the game does continually load.
I don't think its too much, so it would cause physical damage to your PS2 lens. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Don't all the GTA games constantly load? I never played SA, but GTA:3/GTA:VC had a lot of loads when I played ...

I don't know, maybe it was just misfortune but i read some complains about it. Every time they played to GTA SA for many hours a day their PS2 was damaged:blaceek

I played GTA: SA for a while, never had any problems. I don't think that's true.
People also say the Slim PS2 overheats all the time, and that's a bunch of garbage.
