My friend got a PS2 for christmas and he wants to play it online, he just got hold of the RJ45 Crossover that he needs as he is connecting his PS2 direct to his PC and is using ICS, I was attempting to set it up for him, but when I plug the Ethernet cable in the PC and PS2, the PC says that its not connected.

I've tried the cable and thats fine, its not his PC because I connected my laptop to it and his PS2 works because I connected it to my router and thats fine.

I can't think of anything else! :(

Thanks in advance! ;) :)

if i'm not mistaken you can put your own ip adress in the ps2 for local network. maybe that could help. Otherwise try on xlink kai forums they know a lot of stuff connecting to the net etc

The DNS Server should be the same IP address as your PC, because as far as your PS2 is concearned, your PC is a router.
