network file sharing

does anybody know how to get file sharing between my desktop and laptop to work wirelessly?

ive set up a shared folder and set the permissions so that it can be shared. ive set the workgroup names to the same for each computer but they shared file doesnt show up when i try to connect with my laptop.

anybody know whats going on?

try properties for lan connection and see if you have ipx protocol installed, you might need this sometimes

disable all the firewalls and see if that makes a difference. if so restart the firewalls and find out how to open the ports for file sharing.
