Need tech help on Age of Mythology

Heyz ppl,

After the starting cinematics and stuff i get this error message saying
"XML parsing error in Fonts2.xml. No fonts will be loaded."

Then i get the "Failed to initialise error".

???:-(

So i went to look for the "fonts2.xml" file but could only find a "fonts2.xmb" file.
So.......what does this mean?????? What do i do?

Can anyone with AOM sent me the correct "fonts2.xml" file?
Or izzit not a problem with the file?:(

There should be a fonts2.xml in the fonts directory, on your hard drive and on disc one in the AOM/fonts directrory. If you need i can send it. Its only 151 kb.

There is a new patch just released for Age of Mythology. The patch fixes setup crash, Direct IP connection issues, and cheat checks. This might help with ur problem. link below:

Didn't see the patch on microsofts site but it is available on ensemble studios site. Just need a nocd crack for new patch now.

hey guys, just downloaded Age of Mythology and am new to this site.
I was also having problems with the fonts2.xml file.

Error message says, xml parsing error on fonts2.xml file.
no fonts will be loaded!
initialization failed.

Can anyone send me an email to bobby008@telus.net with the required files and programs and what not, maybe even the fonts2.xml file, so that i can fix this problem and begin with the game?
