V9 wont spin new lens 2 boards 2 PS

I have 2 V9 motherboards, power suplys and extra drive parts
they power on and everythign but the disc wont spin the lens moves and focus's but I dont know why boht wont spin I have used 3 diffret spin motor/cable units and it still wont spin I am wonderign what in my ineptness did I do to it to make it die 0-o this is also non moded system.

BTW while I asking why are thier 11 versions of the normal PS2 ? I know some of it is revsions and to keep the system cheap but yesh 11 revisions 0_o

I got fed up trying to fix it and got a new/rebuilt PS2 V9 I still have the new lens....

Its the damnest thign tho both v9 boards wont spin discs even if I swap out drive parts...Mmm could it be the cables I wonder..mmm

LA or LB chip on motherboard could be gone

With the right tools yes its a sinch.. you need a hotair rework stasion and new LA chip. IF laser dies in V9-11 70% of the time LA goes also . LA can be replaceed with normal soldring iorn but it will take time. Make sure to get real LA chip thats not on some Flex PCB or your going to see fireworks..
