Quicktime or WMP?

For a webpage, which is a better format for people to view a movie? Quicktime or Windows Media Player? Id like to put both, but since i am limited to web space, i wanted to see what is better for the greater amount of people viewing the videos. I figure that you guys have a little more experience with this then i do. Thanks

im not sure, but Mac/*Nix users cant view WMP files. so i would go Quicktime.

WMP has better compression and sound quality and streaming capabilities, whereas Quicktime has better image quality but as Slayer said Quicktime will have better compatability with other OS.
