Bard's Tale...game crashes

I'm sorry if this isn't important emergency...
But to me it's very important and I would be very gratefull if you could solve the problem...

When I wan't to leave the first town in the game (Houton or something like that...) to the main map and others town's... It just says loading and then the screen goes blank and stays like that... and when i push the 'enter' botton it crashes out of the game...to the desktop...

The problem is I can't leave the first town and carry on with the game...

I have the following system Specs.:
-AMD AthlonXP 64 3000+
-nvidia Geforce 6800 le
-maxtor 250 gb.
-2x 512 ddrram
-monitor samsung 730 bf...etc.

I instaled the latest drivers for gforce 81.95, directx 9.0c and Windows media player 10 (because game needs Windows media format 9...)

If so, try reinstall the game.

or cdrom drive?

I tried to reinstall, but it didn't worked...

You could also apply the latest patch for that game (if available)

I installed the latest patch, the only patch for this game...there's only one patch for the game...
