I recently got NFS Mostwanted installed and couldn't get it running. The installation was fine, but when I tried to run the game, it showed a splash screen of need for speed most wanted and then goes to full screen mode with black screen and then crashes back to the desktop.
I have the following system Specs.:
---> AMD AthlonXP 64 3200+
---> ASUS A8N SLI-Premium
---> 1 x XFX-Geforce-6600-GT
---> 1GB ( 2 x 512MB ) DDR400 RAM
---> 2 x Maxtor 80GB SATA ( RAID 0 )
---> 1 x Samsung 80 GB
---> Windows XP SP2
---> DirectX 9.0c (latest one)
---> nVidia Driver 81.95
I have got the latest driver for the graphics card as well as the motherboard. I also have the latest DirectX 9.0c. I even reinstalled my entire Windows, still it gives the same problem CTD every time I run NFS-MostWanted. I couldn't get the game started at all.
I installed the game on my friends machine with a lower pc configuration and it worked just fine. He don't even have the latest driver too.
I don't have any problem with any other game like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 and LockOn. All other games runs preety well.
Can anybody help me out and get the game running.
Regards,
Sapam
