i really need help pls ... kindly read "noob here"

huhuhu T_T badly need help ... i installed nfsmw. 1st i cant get around running it so i resorted to use daemon and s4hide .. i also installed it on my friends pc with the same process and without hassle it worked smoothly ... then on my pc i get this "speed.exe" error making me unable to run the game... i read on one of the forums here that x64 is not supported by daemon or something *cant remember ... i can mount the image, i can use the s4hide and i eliminated the "please insert cd blah blah blah" but it doesnt start im stuck with the speed.exe error and i lost all hope!!! please help or even shed some light on how the hell it doesnt work on my system but in my friend it runs beautifully he keeps shoving it in my face how great the game is , the sad thing is the copy of the game came from me and its really annoying believe me!!! by the way im new here, this is the last resort i could come up with ... im darkcyrx from the phillipines this forum is pure evil genius! hahahaha :redlaugh: this is my system :nforce4ultra sli, athlon64 3200+ht 939, geforce 6600gt 256mb/128bit, 512mbram, 40g ata hdd, uhm im not sure if i have to include the devices attached or softwares installed coz i believe non if them conflicts with the game or something but kindly ask me to prove otherwise ... *note im not boasting my specs im just lucky i was able to afford them, im posting them so i can understand if any of these does affect the game... i really hope nfs can run on x64 coz im dying to play this game and its been a week since i had the copy its really frustrating .... sorry for the long post its my first time im a bit exicited hehehe

im using winxp pro sp1, i cant afford a copy of the 64bit yet, and resources here are a bit limited ... but im planing on it next year if its available here by then. , im not sure if it supports nfs but if it doesnt guess i wont be changing os yet ... im a big fan of ea nfs since its days on ps1 ... ooopppsss being talkative again .. sorry . thanks ! again ... ill try to run it again this afternoon .. arg its really pissing me off ... ive downloaded the daemon 401-64 but when i try to install it , im having this "this platform is not supported" error . what the heck.. by the way im using winxp pro sp1 ... my x64 is 939 socket if that affects anything ... this is really frustrating ... huhuhu T_T please need help ... thanks !

Dark that means you don't have windows XP 64 bit edition use the 32 bit edition, you should know by now what bit edition you have sigh...hence the platform not supported...-_-

And what does "my x64 is 939 socket if that affects anything", that's just your cpu slot x64 is has nothing to do with cpu, and you just confused yourself and me, you have the normal windows.

P.S. The game is fun if you have the black edition even better....:D

ahh yes ... totally didnt think too darn exicted just followd the link then installed just didnt have time too repost again ... and the "x64 is 939 blah blah" im trying to say if that speed.exe error has anything to do with x64 or the daemon tool is affected by having a x64 cpu . i didnt mean to say 939 is affecting it. i should have typed "my x64 939" i just specified my cpu. got used to tipidpc forum posting specs down to the last detail .. just a typing error .. sorry for the confusion ... A CPU doesn't affect a game to start :D , it does affect your FPS :(

As you use WinXP, i recommend using the "search"-function next time, coz there are already several threads about "how to start, it without cd/dvd" -> http://www.mgforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43284

yes it doesnt affect the game... i said "pointing out the x64 affecting the daemon and resulting with the speed.exe' i have no idea why the speed error so im asking if having a x64 causes it" AFFECTING THE DAEMONTOOL *or the s4hide* (forgot to mention)cause i read in one of the forums that daemon doesnt support x64 till the release of vista nxt year. i also went here "http://www.mgforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=43284" a few days ago. doesnt work for me and 1 or 2 other members.. maybe my image is corrupted ill try to make another one . just tough luck. ive been chating with 1 of the members we both have the same problem ... it sucks
