Usb Problem!!!

well the problem is that when i connect my pocket pc or the printer via usb or any other thing that uses usb connection in the computer appears a message that is the usual message that it gives when you connect a usb to the pc and it detects it but it doesnt makes a connection between them i dont know what could it be can someone help me plz...

updating your windows might help for a start, go to
http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us
and install all critical updates, aslo u amy have to visist it a few times in order to get them all.

try that then put yer USB device in, is this the same for EVERY usb device u plug in btw?

If your PC has USB 2.0, and you only have SP1 installed the USB ports won't work propperly you need SP2, click on fdjc4's Windows Update link, that should install everything you need.

You can also included SP2 or other usefull stuff into your WinXP Install CD.
There is a program for this: xp-iso-builder ; written in german :O
