call of duty 2 invalid serial!!

i just got cod 2 im finished 1 day i decided to play online (thats today) and i go to mp options and type in my serial then it says its valid
then i went ot join a game and it says invalid serial!!! i can install and i can play sp fine but just when i join i can even host! any idears? ive reinstalled and stuff :graysighw
