I've got a Geforce 4 MX440 card with 64 MB of Video Memory.
I'm trying to configure Black&White 2 to run on it.
Has anybody been able to play?
To any degree. I would be happy to qualify distinguishing the creatures head as playable.
I have been unable to get it past the menu.
Any kind of solution will do, except buying a new card.
I believe the solution is in 3danalyzer, but no luck yet.
Thanks!

Try old versions of 3d analyze, maybe works

I checked with 2.36(latest version online) and with 2.26(version that worked with Fable The Lost Chapters)
If you have an idea for a configuration I haven't tryied, please do tell me.

I don't know exactly the options because every game is very specific and I don't have Black and White 2 but maybe since both games are made by the same company (Lionhead Studios) maybe works on on this one too

ON Pixel and vertex shaders options
check this

--Force max pixel shader ver. 1.1
-skip pixel shader 1.1
-skip pixel shader 1.4
-skip pixel shader 2.0
-force low precision pixel shader

On hardware limitis makes ( cap bits) select all options

On hardware limits (features) click on
-emulate cube maps

down on z buffer click on

force 24 bits buffer (without stencil) ----(Note that this option is very important on fable you can disable other options but without this one the game don't run I don't know if this is so important on Black and White 2 but maybe works)

Hope this helps

If you check the minimum requirements of the game, you will find that the MX range of graphics cards are NOT supported. Best to upgrade your graphics card as soon as you can.
