can u really judge.......

just wondering what u guyz think..... can u really judge a game if its good or not even though u never played it..... like for example.... ok not that im saying mario sunshine or britney's dance beat is good or bad... lol i havent u played them before... but anyways can u really say that it sux w/o actually playing and trying the game out for urself.... it just pisses me off sometimes whenever someone says a game sux when they havent even tried it out for themselves..... what do u guyz think

yes you can ,like me i think all rpgs where it is turn based suck ,for the simple fact i dont like standing around waiting to be hit

So there for any rpg that comes out that is like that i can instantly say that it sucks :)

Well depends on what you like.
if your someone that like's fps only and tend to hate all the rts you've played in your life, even if you've only played 2. then yeas you can judge game's before you've played them. but if you've onlt palyed one game in you life then no you can't really judge a game.
It all depends on how well you know your self and what you like.

lol thats what i just said... not that i say its good but u probably never played it either so how can u say it does.... u didnt even try the gameplay.... i mean at first i was doing the judging thing by saying super monkey ball sux cuz i thought how can a stupid monkey inside a ball rolling around be fun... but when i tried it did surprised me and i found it quite interesting... u know what i mean....

Play the game first and give it a chance, is what I say. When I first saw Hogs Of War for the psx I thought no way am I going to like this but when I gave it a chance it became one of my all time favourites. Those little pigs still crack me up :)

LOL i got that game(PC version). it's so funny but it can be annoying how it takes ages to do something (they talk to much).

i agree give it a go b4 you comment, but myself i classify games as mentioned above with RPGS - i often give the opion that i dont like them without trying them for the same reason... taking turns aint my scene

this is what "hype" is. It is a thing that builds up a lot of anticipation for a game, and if it lives up to its word, its a good game. If not, then its bad. Simply put.

well from the look of some games you can just tell straight off if it is C**P!!!

In some case you can tell early if it is crap, some where it is the 3 of a series of games and you did not like the first 2 then you would assume that the 3rd sux. also depends on whether you like the genre of the game :)
