Has anybody found one that truly works yet?

The best one I have found still requires at least the image to be mounted. NONE of them - and I have tried so many now - actually let you play with no CD.

Does the game work properly with the original game disc inserted?

All thecracks for C&C, RA and Dune games they require that quite a number of files should be copied from the original disc on the HDD(mainly some of those mix files). So find some cracks that still have the nfo files and read those carefully as those will tell you exactly what files needs to be copied on the hard drive)

If you want to run Yuri on the lastest WinXP SP2, I found you need to turn on Win98 compatibility mode or the game will crash.

FIRST!; Copy all .mix files from CD to your gamedir,as well as yr1.dsk.Second apply the crack.Now you should have a proper no-cd.
And here, as an extra bonus are the files that need to be copied for RA2 crack to work properly:
mix files from Allied CD are
Maps01.mix
Movies01.mix
Multi.mix
Theme.mix
Wdt.mix

mix files from Soviet CD are
Maps02.mix
Movies02.mix
other three files are identical to the ones on Allied CD
Dip, all the cracks nfos were edited. No true no-cd out there mainly because none of the C&C games('til Renegade and Generals, which are an exception from this rule) wasn't making a full install.He should be fine with the cracks and adding those files on the HDD. I wish to thank here to my crack library, faithul to me even after so many years:D

I managed to create a fully working backup of Yuri's Revenge, without even intending to, which I was quite happy about. :p

So i've never needed to used a No-CD crack for it ever. :)

I can't find any at all, other that whats been posted. :p
