Saw Motörhead yesterday and there it was a real drunk guy who screamed "tottenham!!" about a million times...he screamed that he hated arsenal also...hmm...I'm a bit with arsenal but I didn't tell him...it would have been sad to see him try to hurt me :)

You must be joking that game is for sissies, and puffs. They think there so good with all that padding on. Its just an American adaptation of Rugby, & you don't see any of them wearing padding do you. Its more of a mans game is Rugby:)

Anyone know where the word soccer comes from anyway?I suspect it might be so north americans can tell the difference between what they call football and what we (europeans) know as football but why soccer?

ya hes good but he made real lose or tie that one game against that italian team he gave the ball to them...i think in world cup it was his OUTSTANDING teamates that made him what he is today...he seems ++++y as well...he thinks hes the next pele and so does that gay italian totti he makes me sick..he thinks hes vieri or baggio...well hes not

I don't think the Leeds players want to play for Venables, you can see that when they play, they play half-hearted & don't give a toss. They want a differant manager as most of them know (Aussie players) what kind of a manager El Tel is

Apparently soccer comes from the term association football which was used to prevent football getting confused with that american game where they run around with the ball in there hands (american football).

Soccer must of evolved form asSOCiAtion but then that may be a pathetic attempt to explain where soccer comes from. Anyway I don't really care as it will ALWAYS be football to me.
