Hey i used the one thats here in Megagames. It starts up the game, but the gfx are VERY messsed up. Any idea on how to fix this?

lower the graphic's i had the same prob. thought i could have detail setting of 10, but i can't :( i miss things like there body and stuff. all i can say is that i can have 8 but not 10.
also update ur graphic drivers

Hey I have a very weird problem in PoN. I must select the language every time I enter the game, and I MUST config controls every time too...wtf ??? Anybody with the same problem ??

saved games seems to work fine, but the controls...oh man, I have to reconfig every time I quit. I tried setting the pon setting file to "read only" but nothing happened.

Please some help here.

Hye guys, i updated the game usa patch, and am using the The Matrix: Path Of Neo [ENGLISH] No-DVD/Fixed Image #2 by Bleh, however im getting the emualtion error. Please guys can anyone help me. Thanks a bunch.!!

PS with antiblah its the emulation error.
with sr7.stop i get this error A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed

Ahh....ok the game works without Dvd,,,,but I have to play it in 800x640.....Icant change it...What can I do to change this?

Anybody with the same problem ?? I have very big graphics bugs (shadows bugs, textures bugs) I set the maximun detail (10) and 1280x1024, but I always have to re configure controls grrrrrrrrrrrrr any idea ?

right i got this bad boy working with the patch installed.
go get urself a copy of daemon tools v4
disable ur cd/dvd roms in device manager
mount image and away u go

Edit - I just want to know, is the glitchy GFX just a bug thats fixed in the update, or is it just cause the No-cd causes it to freak out?

Sorry about that, I was trying to start Stonghold 2 X), Yes it does work. Just download the new Daemon, and if your having problems with GFX turn them down a bit.

*One more thing, The game Totally sucked. I hope you had more fun with it than me.

You need to unplug your IDE-DVD/CD Drives for REAL. This is not only for Starforce but it's needed for SecuromV7 too.

AND its the best Matrix Game ever, maybe i'm the only one who's able to play it ? ;)

I did complete unpluged my DVD-Drive, and its now working without DVD <- :D .
WinXP + Sp2 + DVD Image + DT4 + unpluged drive = working PoN v.1.1

And rly, its awesome these moves Neo is performing :D

PS: I did not installed Alcohol or Blindwrite so far.

the game is really buggy but the movements are amazing !!

I can't play it with the patch installed so I figured out that I must unplug the cables...but I installed the game via alcohol, any idea of that ?? problems with alocohol and DT 4 installed ?? I heard that DT has problems with Alcohol installed at the same time...well I will try unpluging cables ASAP.

Right click on your Physical CD-Rom and Disable it.

well I accidentaly delete the original .mdf file (image), now I have the fixed #2 image from gcw which has 3.35 GB, but when I mount it to install the game, nothing happens, I mean, no autoinstall or autorun, I execute setup.exe and still nothing..is there a way to install the game with some of these fixed images ?? (I could do it with fixed image of civ 4)

Mini-image/Running program

1. Get official patch, and install it.
2. Get #2 or #3, mini image. (I used #2, for my test) (Got my mini-image from gamecopyworld)
3. Mount image using Daemon tools 4.0 or Alcohol 120%. (I used Daemon tools for my test)
4. Next, go to control panel>(performance and maintenace - XP)system>click hardware tab>device manager>DVD/CD-ROM drives, then right-click and click disable. Do not disable, SCSI Cd Rom Device(s), if you have more than one. Only your company manufactured one's, (i.e. ASUS). I disabled only my DVD Drive, because I have the DVD version of the game, for my test.
5. Finally, your done, now go play and enjoy.

Graphic Problems

Ok, for those with buggy textures, etc... Simply turn down the graphic setting. You have black textures, a) Settings set too high or b) Patch will/should fix it. Let me explain:

1-4: Pixel Shader 1.4 used.
6-8: Pixel Shader 2.0 used.
9-10: Pixel Shader 3.0 used.

The higher the level the more Shader and graphics used in-game.

biowolf: Taiko88's guide is very detailed and usefull, follow his steps, I did the same except disable the DVD, but instead I used sc7stop.exe (you can download it from gamecopyworld, tools, securom 7 stop.)

Taiko88, I did the same steps you describe in your guide, but I couldn't play the game with the patch. I uninstalled the game, but I made a mistake...I deleted the original image (.mdf and .mfs files), then I tried to install the game using fixed image #1 or #2 but nothing happens, I tried to execute steup.exe or autorun.exe manually but nothing happens again :( do you have any idea how to fix it ?? I don't want to re download the game (I have a very slow connection :S )

Ok, you gotta get/download the game again. :( The mini-image is used to mimic the cd/dvd, so it looks like you have the real cd/dvd, but not the contents. So sorry to say you gotta get it again.

I just want confirm, that you even dont have to unplug your Optical-Drive :dance1: .
You can just disable it in the device manager, as mentioned by Taiko88.

I didn't try the mini-images, i have the downloaded a full dvd-image to get it starting without needing my org. DVD, while playing ;)

Maybe you had Antiblaxx or any other CD-Hider installed and you have not restore the Settings?
Another possibility is if you have installed Alcohol120% or an older Daemon Tools Version in standart Install Mode. You need to install these in expert mode and give the drivers other Names.

Well I could make it work.. first u have to download the official patch, then disable the units that are on ur computer, download the image from megagames http://www.megagames.com/cracks/html/917450_0.htm, mount the image using daemon tools 4.0 (emulating securom and RMPS) THEN and finially use antiblah (u have to turn it ON depending on what language is ur OS), enjoy the game!

Hey I am from Argentina to, so I'm going to help you :), first forget of all the things said around here of disable your CD drive, unplug,etc its dangerous.

The first thing you'll need is to download daemon tools V.4, install it and restart you computer. then download a mini image of the game from www.gamecopyworld.com or anywhere you like. And also download a program called antiblah from www.cdmediaworld.com. Now mount the mini image in daemon tools V4. then open the antiblah folder and double click antiblah_SP_on (if you're using spanish windows, antiblah_ENG_on if you're using English windows,etc).Now go to the folder where you installed the game and right click in matrix.exe and select properties, then select compatibility and select windows 2000. now double click on the shortcut in your desktop and it should start the game... if the game doesn't start and instead it gives you a security mode message or something like that go to antiblah folder and select off...then unmount the image from daemon, now make sure you don't have alcohol 120% installed cause this might be the problem. If you do have it installed you'll need to uninstall it completely and restart your computer. now again mount the image in daemon, run antiblah and start the game, it should work now. Hope it helps, any question you have please ask.Cheers :)

Let me guess, you have a geforce 4 card, right?

Scroll up in the thread, you'll see a list of graphic cards, This is the list of all UNSUPPORTED Hardware, so if you find your Card on the List, you have to buy a new graphic to play this Game.
Nearly All Intel Integrated, Radeon prior 8500, and all Geforce 2,3 and 4 Cards are not supported.
