explain what settings to use when you use daemon or anti-blaxx please i cant get anything to work...you can refer to my thread below

no emulation settings for daemon
dont use antiblaxx
just run that program and mount the image in daemon and then run the game
(note)you dont have to mount after you run that program
use daemon regularly

oh, and did you click hide after you ran that program?
you have to hit that
and you need to have the image mounted before you run that prog

I'm just getting a F.E.A.R has encountered a problem and needs to close...yeah that microsoft message

I tried everyway...mounting first then hiding and hiding then mounting....tried with emulation on and off, I just keep getting that microsoft error and it closes.

I also just installed and uninstalled it and tried...same error. What am I doing wrong?

oh, i thought you were getting that security msg crap after doing that
ummm that microsoft msg seems like it may be hardware related....something incompatible or is your computer overclocked or it maybe a corrupt download...i dunno but your doing the procedure right

I install fine and everything fine. When I don't use sr7.stop then it tries to play the game and if i have emulation on it will say emulation detected disable virtual devices and emulation....if i have no emulation on it was say security device not enabled or somethin...if i use sr7.stop then I just get a microsoft error message

i just tried virtualcdhide as well with no luck...idk what i'm doin wrong.

I am using an image of the F.E.A.R. DVD made with Blindwrite 5. When I don't use SR7.stop I get the message "Emulation software detected". When I do use SR7.stop I get the message "Original Disc Could Not Be Found or Authenticated". What gives? It appears that the the SR7.stop program is hiding the emulated drive from the game itself! Any suggestions?

When using daemon tools to mount the FEAR CD image, use the *.mds file NOT the *.mdf file in daemon tools. Emulation CAN be left all ON. Not off. After youl mount the correct file (fear.mds) and all you have to do is run the Sr7 app and to push the hide button. It will hide the correct image now. This will fix these specific errors deffinitly:
emulation detected disable virtual devices and emulation
security device not enabled or somethin...etc
If you get any kind of hard stop or MS error, you are not meant to play the game.

ok i mounted the .mds file, then ran the SR7.Stop. I still the the emulation detection error.
Now I have updated the game to 1.02. Could that be the problem?
Also I have a older version of daemon like v3.47 could that be it?

This worked for me:

-Installed FEAR (Directors Cut DVD)
-Patched to 1.02
-Downloaded the following image from GameCopyWorld: "F.E.A.R. Director's Cut v1.02 [ENGLISH] No-DVD/Fixed Image" by pyro
-Mounted the .MDS file with Daemon Tools 4
-Downloaded Anti-Blah from GameCopyWorld
-Ran the "ON" .bat file for the appropriate language
-Set fear.exe to Windows 2000 Compatability mode

Run the game

what do u mean by saying YOU ARE NOTMEANT TO PLAY THE GAME...
coz...i installed all....then got error when i want to launch the game...
the error .... F.E.A.R has encountered an error...nid to close.....
the window error....so...how?
