Does starforce install when you launch the game or when you install the game?

On Install. But the game Installs it too, and begs for restart if they are removed. So Both are right.

Does the starforce remover thing work perfectly or does it leave starforce drivers, or leave some, or not even work?

The starforce tool they provide to remove it removes everything right? (I hope yes so I can play my game then uninstall it to keep my high 12k 3d mark 05 performance :car: )

starforce is a driver that runs hidden in the background (you cant see it in task mgr either)

and no the game will not install starforce untill you start it the first time (run the exe or click the icon on the desktop/startmenu) after it installs it it will always run memory resident hidden in your system like a virus even when you are not playing the game or even if the game gets uninstalled,

the starforce driver remover removes the driver but sometimes system restore / windows file protection will restore the drivers from a hidden folder windows uses to backup all the system files (dllcache in the system32 dir)..
and the cleaner most likely doesnt remove all entrys like registry also the game will just reinstal them if you try to start it..etc

its better not to play a game with starforce unless you dont care about a unstable pc.

When some starforce games are installed some needs to be replaced with a cracked exe first before make click and start the game to avoid the installation of the starforce drivers but some others starforce games needs the driver even when are cracked it depends what type of starforce protection are using exists several types
