Problem with Legacy Of Kain: Blood Omen (The FIRST one)

I really need help. I recently bought this game, which is for win 95, but I have Xp. Is there a way, any way!, to make it go or I have to find an old computer?

Sure I have, but when I run the program, nothing appears, and the only thing i can hear is a faint sound of water and some footsteps, continously repeated. Nothing else.
