Tiger woods PGA 2006 Fatal exeception error on startup

Has anyone had an error with tiger woods 2006 where the startup screen hangs for a long time then loads a second time and hangs for an even longer time then eventually gives a fatal exeption error. I have tried reinstalling the game to no avail and the machine has just be Clean installed. Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried writing down the error and google'ing it (I love how many people's questions can be answered by a simple google search)? Also, if you actually purchased the game, you should be able to call up the EA support number and talk to someone on there. It's a pain, but they should help you get your game working (or else refund your money).

have you your pc up to date?
all latet drivers installed?
does your pc meet the minimum/recommended specs?
can u give use the error in full and post ur pc specs cause more info will help maybe solve, your problem
Where may i ask did you get the game from?

maybe even possibly spyware or sometihng to that effect has messed with your windows, i know it happened to a amte when he tried to uninstall some crap he got off the net, it became embedded into his system and need to format to get totally rid of
