Limewire Pro

hey all,
when i try to run limewire pro the interface simply goes white and my computer freezes. ive got all the latest versions of limewire and java and just did a fresh install and registry kill...anyone got any bright ideas?

Limewire is a pile of spyware, anyways have tried uninstalling, deleting all limewire folder and their traces and files left after uninstall, run a registry cleaner and the re install again?

yeah ive done all that more than once and i discovered its not limewire its java that is screwed, but ive done the same to java and still the same..any ideas?:fett:

Try a different version of Java. Go back a revision to 1.4 from 1.5, that may solve your issue.

limewire pro hasnt got spyware, well nothing ive detected

i got spybot S&D 1.4 latest detections update
MS antispy beta latest detection update
Ad-aware 1.06 latest detection update

i ran all these programs since i have installed and limewire pro has never been found in it nor any spyware for that matter relating it it, just the usualy spying cookies and nothing else....maybe pro has no spyware/adware but the freeware version has?

umm try updating your pc man, there may be something not entirely right, use windows update and see, also if you wait for a moment like say 2 mins does th menu appear then?
