i have a .mpg file, now how do i burn it to a dvd to watch on my dvd player. im a newbie to burnin DVD's
i have a DVD burner

Go to http://www.vcdhelp.com They have guides on how to do it.You could aslo make a vcd out of a mpg if u wanted.

Hi...To burn the mpeg file you will need to author it making "audio TS" and "video TS" files which are burnable in any good burning prog,ie Nero..
You could use ....DVDit.......Spruce up or my favorite DVD Maestro..But you will need ya pc to be on NTFS file system.Which means Windows NT or XP...( only for DVD Maestro )....
How did you get your mpeg2 file...if the movie aint that long you dont need to run the ripped vob files through TMPGEnc .Just demux the m2v and ac3 files and use these to author ya dvd>Quicker than ripping,dvd2avi,TMPGEnc....
