i cant find this anywhere, can someone please give me a link to it, or an attachment.

but preferably i need to know if it does what i want it to do

i want a program that gets the gcf files, and decrypts them, (dosent extract them, gcfscape does that)

go to megagames.com and download the steamless fix made by target21 that comes with the gizma decrypter. Even most of the diferent No steam fixes uses the Gizma decrypter with them also check the hl2 thread no the top of the page there a lot of information about this on there

Gizmas-method, decrypts and extract's them..
There are lots of no-Steam emulators that uses the crypted .gcf's-Archives, so it will fit your need.

Search after: UniLauncher or steambuster...
I did try UniLauchner, i did also noticed that there is room for appling no-steam patches...
