Personally, I think the answer is yes. There are so many titles coming to GameCube, such as the Resident Evil series, Hitman 2, Mortal Kombat, and more. They don't have so many so called "kiddy" games, and are starting to attract a more mature audience. I think that this is good for them.

In my personal opinion , I think they (Nintendo) have change to a more adult gamers consumers TOO LATE. I'm not interested in nintendo system anymore (since the debut of the playstation).
thats my opinion.

don't think if it's that good.
imagine how many kids that will get disapointed when Nintendo will makes less kid games.
Nintendo are popular for the younger audience, always been.

kids don't buy games, teens and adults do. This is actually a little too late to aim at a different audience.

The best system would be one that appeals to kids and adults, because they would make the most money. Nintendo is trying to do so, in my opinion...

imo its too late...they now realized teh kiddie market hasnt gone well and now these MULTIPLATFORM games like hitman and mortal kombat are on all systems....so that doesnt really help them at all...re is all they got that is mature...plz do nto turn this into a console war saying that gc has this and that but teh fact s they aimed for a kiddie market and now they are payin teh price literally...
now they wanna play the big boys...xbox and ps2 but i dont think that will happen effectivley...too little too late

if you are more interested about your image, and what other people think, then xbox or ps2 is your console. They are saying " this is for big boys who want to play games but want to be cool at the same time". beCause nintendo use cartoonish graphics on some games doesnt mean you should be ashamed to play it. And just because something is realistic 3d doesnt make it mature.
The whole gamecube bashing thing is done by teenagers who want to want to dissasoitate themselves with anything that isnt "grown up", and want to show that they are grown up cause there playing the xbox, or ps2 which has them thinking they are playing games designed for adults, which i dont is true. Its clever marketing.
I like most nintendo games, the graphics dont put me of atall because they are actually alot nicer than most of the games around. Computer games have been here long before the playstation era, which has created the generation of people who dont like any thing else and think that there console is god.
if you are ashamed of playing something that looks bright and colourfull the you are immature. Unlike gamers like me who love nintendo games, but also love the games you play too.
as for the "kiddy image" i think a child would rather have an x-box or ps2 for christmas than a gamecube, cause they'd rather be cool :]

I just think the companies making the games have started upgrading the tastes, besides the fact the n64 did not do as well as planned, so they are trying to copy ps success

Well, the N64 did, because Nintendo meant it to be that way. They are starting to change their opinions now I think...

If you like Mario, then you like Gamecube and Nintendo. I know that when I was younger I didn't understand the concept of games when I first recieved my SNES back in the day. Nintendo should release some kid games, but as a teenager, we have less things (toys) than little kids, and understand the concepts of the games, plus its our entertainment.

Yeah, I still remember the days when I was four years old and playing Super Mario Bros... those were the days. Mario is fine for me, I don't consider it "kiddy" at all. I mean, adults played Mario in 1985 and didn't complain, so they shouldn't have to complain now...

I wish I could get all 3 consoles, but 1 with a PC is good enough for me. SCYRAXXX, make sure you get all the good games for each one...
And how do you like Cyrax in the new MK? I think his fatality is awesome.

I don't think there are any cheats, but check http://www.gamefaqs.com for some. And I do not think you can play as any of them, Liu Kang dies, which really sucks...
