Okay I tried to post a picture of the problem but because it was geocities or something they didn't let me do it so I'll just have to describe the problem instead. For example If I move the mouse around from left to right really fast, or if I'm just playing the game normally and the action heats up. This is the problem I get under those conditions: say for instance I'm looking at a vertical pole, say about halfway up the pole the picture will be off to the right or left and the pole isnt a straight pole. The picture is offset kinda, I wish I could post a pic but geocities wouldn't let me, or maybe it was megagames forum too because when i clicked the link nothing happened, it didn't even attempt to load the picture. If anyone can help me solve this problem. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Wrong forum, post moved.

Not sure what the problem could be. I've played Q3 for years without experiencing any problems like this. Which version do you have?
Try updating to the latest point release.

Do you have probs in any other games, or just this?
Which video card do you have?
Have you tried updating the drivers for it?

not sure if it happens in my other games, I have the latest nVidia 30.82 drivers, my video card is a Geforce 4Ti 4400. Here is the link below.

(at the top of the pic is where the graphical glitch is)

Is it your monitor? :p

well, I turned off Vsnyc and still had the problem. Plus I messed with the monitor refresh from 60 to 85hz and still the same problem. So I'm guessing its not the monitor.

when all else fails, try compleatly removing q3a, and start anew, see if that helps

Geocities doesn't let you post direct links to ur images. You have to create a blank web page (htm) and put the link in that page. Now just link the page to this forum and ppl can go to that page to see the image.
