Half Life 2 with out gay steam

I was wondering if there was anyway of getting around the freakin steam program when your installing Half Life 2. I barrowed the game from a friend and i was planning on plyaing it but the cd key is already registered and the only trouble is the steam. I dont want to play online i just want to play the game so i dont want this steam program so if anyone knows a way around it that would be awesome.

Ughh since u borrowed from ure frnd, ure not entitled to play hl2 get lost!!! LOL im kidding... umm i lend my frnds my accounts some times so they can play hl2.. maybe ure frnd can do that, lend u his account for awhile?

Otherwise u can try the so called hl2 cracks and blah blah and etc.. honestly i dont know why ppl bother, steam is a great invention, ppl who +++++ about steam have nothing else to +++++ about or they already +++++ about everything else, only thing i understand is if ure internet sux then its hard for the customer i understand.

For now just use your friends account.. although im not sure i should be saying this as it might conflict with the Valve EULA or other terms they might have set forth and i dont wanna be doing that... so sorry in advance mods and admins lol

Well indeed there is a confilct with valve's eula and borrow a steam-account is ILLEGAL (because, if you do so, you can download steam content for free and make it offline), so sorry so say... buy the game its only 20 Euro in Europe!

Btw, Steam is the best online-platform tbfh, if you have broadband :grayeek:

With broadband i mean no limitation and at least 512KBit/s down...

Once again i shouldnt be telling you this since its not entirely legal... so im apologizing in advance... but i still wanna help u out, me being good natured and all haha.

Well what u do is once hl2 is completely downloaded.. next time u run steam make sure ure internet is not connected and login to steam but with offline mode so u wont be online with ure frnds account and u can play hl2 anytime u want without internet.. ughh i know one of the mods or admins are gonna have my balls for this lol... sorry!!
