game, dark side of the moon

Dark side of the moon by Southpeak Interactive runs good on my system, except I can not see the dialogue choices in the conversation box. Southpeak support says my computer is to fast and modern, and there is no fix they know of. Can anyone help?

You can slow down the acceleration or you can use a slower computer.
