Here's the problem: Whenever I turn on my labtop and after couple seconds of using it, the screen suddenly turns blue and on the top says "beginning dump of physical memory" and then below it says "physical dump complete" then my labtop restarts. I think the cause of the problem was because I turned the labtop off by unplugging it [rather than doing the proper shut down] because it kept freezing. Any solutions to this problem? I know I didn't download any virus-infected programs because I have A LOt of anti-virus firewalls and the only things I put on the computer are: starcraft, msn messenger, and limewire. Or does anyone know a forum/site where they can help me with this problem?? any help will be appreciated

Here are my specs: Windows 2000 professional, Pentium4, 400 Mhz

Try formatting and re-installing the os - hard disk may have corrupted if it was writing to the disk when the power was pulled.

Hey man i had this same problem last year i think. My laptop was trying to do something but it was so freaking slow so i told it to shut down through windows. I waited like 10 minutes but it wouldnt shut down, so i just shut down the power by myself. When i turned it on the computer would boot up then show the blue screen of death. My brother fixed it by copying all the data from my harddrive to another one and then reformating the broken one. It solved the problem and i hope it doesnt happen again. :asmd:
