help my net isnt working properly!!!

im having problems mostly in mp games.this is my new machine and it got crapped and so i had to repair it,it took me 2 months.now its back and running but there are some probs still.like i have 5 games-bia,cod,coduo and hl2 and aa.but the mp of all these games isnt working.the servers are not showing up in all my games.in aa and cod the servers are not showing up.in cod's browsers under the refresh button theres a constant blinking message saying 'waiting for response server'.in bia when i try to join mp the game freezes and after some time an error 'unknown error'appears. i contacted my isp and asked him to see whether the games were blocked or not.then i checked my firewall and the ip address and the dns and i checked everything i could.even the isp hasnt blocked nething!!so plz can everybody help me????its urgent(:-(

Try and temporary disable all your firewalls, see if that helps.

Btw do you have a router ?? You will need to open certain ports.

u are the port forwarding king.

what connection do you have?? have you got any of the serials off the net (as in u aint paid for them)
what are the specs of ur machine and internet??

these are my specs:
p4 3ghz w\ht technology
intel 915gag pcix board with inbuilt net,audio and video
512mb ddr 400mhz
and my inbuilt network adapter supports upto 100 mb/s.thats al i know.no details about it.and by the way i had the same machine 2-3 months ago when i used to play css and AA.but i it got some serious damage and i had to send it for repairs. so i brought my father's office pc,but the mp games werent working in that 1 also.so i think its the fault of the isp.maybr hes not able to spot the setting whivh is blocking my games. :rolleyes:
