HELP! Madden2005

I just got madden 2005 and installed it but when i put in the first cd and press play it has an error saying: MAINAPP.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Does anyone have similiar problems or anything if so can someon e please help me?
